Good citizens deserve help with college

The TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship launched in 2011, awarding scholarships to college students whose volunteer efforts have made a difference in their communities. In 2012, 40 scholarships totaling $50,000 will be awarded to high school seniors and current college students across the country who are attending or accepted to a federally accredited four-year college, university or graduate program and who have been active in community service.

Applicants were asked to write an essay of no more than 250 words, or to record a video up to 60-seconds, explaining the responsibility and leadership skills they have developed through their community service experience. Please follow us on Facebook to learn about future scholarship entry periods. If you have questions, please see our FAQs or 2012 official rules.
